Luxurious furniture of a special kind

The opposite of mass-produced goods

Peter Cygal discovered his calling in the great era of Art Deco: to conceive, design and craft exceptional furniture. He was fascinated by elegant forms, fine materials, beautiful colours and the expressive quality of every piece.

What began as a workshop of 150 square metres has grown to approximately 3,500 square metres, receiving enquiries from around the world. Consistent quality, exclusivity and timeless elegance have defined the company from the very beginning.

His son Marcus inherited this passion for Art Deco. Building on an exceptional foundation, he now leads the company in its second generation, true to its philosophy of passion and perfection.

Craftsmanship, attention to detail and outstanding service are at the heart of our work. Close collaboration with designers and architects all over the world allows us to create exceptional and individual solutions.

The history of Art Deco design

Between 1919 and 1938

Art Deco, from the French arts décoratifs, refers to the style that shaped design between the two world wars. From 1919 to 1938 it brought colour, elegance and artistic innovation into everyday life, despite the enormous challenges of the era.

Art Deco encompassed art, craftsmanship, cinema, technology, fashion and advertising. Its modern spirit adapted to changing tastes while preserving the richness of traditional craftsmanship. Every object expresses not only artistic skill and beautiful form but also the history and optimism of its time.
